The Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division works to protect West Virginia consumers and citizens against consumer-related fraud while promoting fair and safe business practices for individuals and companies operating in the state.
The division investigates complaints regarding unlawful practices in the purchase of goods and services. Consumers who believe they have been victims of such practices are encouraged to file a Consumer Complaint Form with the division as a first step toward resolution.
